Hal Blaine is dead!

Legendary drummer Hal Blaine, who played for big musical names like the Beach Boys  and Elvis Presley, died on Monday. He was 90. Blaine is the most prolific drummer in rock and roll history and we are saddened to hear this news. 

Blaine's death was announced on his Facebook page. The statement read as," “Hal Blaine – loving father of Michelle Blaine; grandfather of Anthony, Josh, Aaron, Whitney, Tempest, Ever and Lyryk; and inspiration to countless friends, fans and musicians – has passed on today, March 11th, 2019 at the age of 90,” Check it out! 

Hal Blaine played for many hit numbers including, Help me, Rhonda by the Beach Boys, These boots are made for walking by Nancy Sinatra, Monday Monday by The Mamas & the Papas,  Let the sunshine in, by the 5th Dimension, Bridge over troubled water by Simon & Garfunkel, Close to you by the Carpenters, Cracklin' Rosie by Neil Diamond, The way we were by Barbra Streisand and Thank god I'm a country boy by John Denver to name a few.
