Paul Williams (79)
The American composer, singer, songwriter and actor Paul Williams has written and co-written popular songs, including Three Dog Night's, An old fashioned love song and Out in the country, Helen Reddy's You and me against the world, David Bowie's Fill your heart and the Carpenters' We've only just begun, among many others. Williams has also done work on films including the Academy Award-nominated Rainbow connection from The Muppet Movie and the lyrics of Evergreen, the love theme from the Barbra Streisand film A Star Is Born. He has written lyrics for TV shows and musicals too.
Lita Ford (61)
Born in the UK and brought up in the USA, Lita Ford was inspired by Ritchie Blackmore's work with Deep Purple and began playing the guitar when she was 11 years old. At 16 she joined the Runaways, a rock band that released its first album in 1976. Ford's lead guitar became integral to the band's sound until it broke up in 1979. She went solo with Out For Blood in 1983, but it didn’t work too well. Dancin’ on the Edge (1984) did better and she followed that up with Lita, Stiletto, Dangerous Curves and Black.
Ramin Karimloo (42)
Iranian-Canadian actor and singer Ramin Karimloo has played the leading male roles in The Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables. He Was Gleb in Anastasia and the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies. He made his Broadway debut as Jean Valjean in the 2014 revival of Les Misérables. When he was a baby, his family fled with him from Iran to Italy and then to Canada. At 12 he decided to become a performer, dreaming of performing the role of the Phantom.
