Fans accuse Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran of plagiarism
| 0 Comments

It's only been a few days since Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran released their new song together, I don’t care and it has already caused controversy. Former member of Girls Aloud, Cheryl, had a song of the same name and fans online noticed similarities between the two songs. Many listeners online said that the chorus sounds exactly the same. They have slammed Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber for plagiarism.

You can listen to both songs and decide for yourself.

Cheryl hasn’t responded to these allegations yet.

This is not the first time Ed Sheeran has been accused of plagiarism. In 2016 he was sued for plagiarising the song Amazing by Matt Cardle and using its tune for his song Photograph. Last year he was accused of plagiarising Marvin Gaye’s song Lets get it on for his hit Thinking out loud.

We love Ed Sheeran but plagiarism is simply unacceptable. Being accused of it once is a big thing but thrice? That’s just too much. Let’s hope he learns and avoids it in the future.

Do you think Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber plagiarised Cheryl’s song? Let us know in the comments below!
