On an official three-nation tour to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, Sushma Swaraj met an Uzbek woman who was a fan of Bollywood, or so it seemed. The woman sang Ichak dana from the Raj Kapoor-Nargis film Shree 420 and the way that Swaraj smiled wide as she listened to the song, she showed off her enjoyment of the music.

For that, and much more, we stop for a moment in honour of the lady who made friends and fans wherever she went….
