English singer-songwriter Liam (William John Paul) Gallagher made his name as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis, and then as vocalist for Beady Eye, before going solo. He showed a unique style with his parkas and aggressive manner, but it is his distinctive style of music that has made the strongest impression of his talent and abilities.

Noel Gallagher, Liam’s older brother, wrote most of the songs that Oasis performed, while Liam was responsible for Songbird and I’m outta time, among other tracks. Liam’s solo album As You Were, released in 2017, was a success both critically and commercially, and soon went platinum. His second solo album, Why Me? Why Not, was released yesterday, September 20. Here are 2 songs from the new compilation, just to celebrate Liam Gallagher’s 47th birthday!
