Musician Peter Tork passes away!

American musician, Peter Tork who is part of the pop band, The Monkees breathed his last on Thursday. The exact cause of death is not yet known. He was 77. 

Peter was a guitarist for the band, and previously had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. He joined the band when he was 24. Confirming the news the band took to Twitter and wrote, "Peter Tork has passed peacefully at the age of 77. We'll be remembering him throughout the day. Share your favourite memories of Peter below." The band- Monkees were huge in the 1960s, with hits like I'm a believer, Daydream believer, Last train to clarksville, Steppin stone, I wanna free to name a few. Also, Tork acted in several TV shows, including Boy Meets World, Wings and The King of Queens. We lost the gold in the music industry but his songs will forever be alive at music lovers hearts. 

RIP, Peter Tork, we will miss your presence!
